I know Lauren talked of upgrading to HIDs, don't know if he ever did.
I absolutely want this car back in the worst way, but noway I'll be able to get a loan for for 12,000 for a 10 year old grand prix.

If I got it back, I'd change the headlights again, this time to blacked out projectors, and upgrade to HIDs, and consider 18" Bullitts, but other than that, it was "done" The new owner went waaayyyyy further than I ever did. as sold it was on the stock engine meaning - stock heads, still supercharged, 3" pulley, XP cam, upgraded valvetrain, and that was it for the motor, everything else suspension, and appearance I did. What he built now with the L67 is a real fuggin' BULLET.

Makes me sad to realize that I can run 275's all the way around on a GTP, but can't on a GTO. Why did I ever sell it?

BTW- that gtp looks very nice. probably one of the nicer ones I have ever seen. 12,000 doesn't seem that bad. If the guy has it appraised by an independant appraiser, depending on what bank you use, they will loan more money based on the value. Only thing the bank cares about in the end is whether or not they can get their money back.

Yeah, if you look around online, original, low mileage ones are still 10k or better, on the same token, theres one on clubgp right now for $3800, high mileage, lots of use.

You know some parts of it were actually done pretty tasteful, the engine compartment is clean w/o many odd colors. Just buisness. Personally im a fan of monochromatic looks, so every single decal woulda been gone if it were mine... Buy that sum ***** back! its turboed now right?

In which case, there weren't any red ones. Just Blue in '98 and Silver in '00

Brian98GTP has a '98 Pace Car sans decals, and PaceCar959 has a '98 Pace Car, but done up completely differently.

I can garuntee 100% that the grand prix in question was done well after mine.

In fact I can, those are 05+ Mustang offset wheels. I had that SD air dam on my GTP, but I never liked how it looked in mockup, so I sold it.

I wasn't saying that you copied him but that there was a guy I remember with a similar car in red. Either way I like yours better :headbang I should of gotten a GTP :( so much more for the 3800
