Nice Boucher Smart Buy... :rolf :thumbsup

Actually I like those trucks, besides hearing that they eat transmissions like a fat kid eats cookies... :rolf

You might have to sacrifice a baby goat in the name of that transmission. Or ask your Church Father to bless it !!!!! maybe add some holly water to the trans :-)

get the trans done when it starts flaring 2-3 shift by a shop who knows theses trannies. also check to make sure there is no oil in the intake because of sucked in plentum gaskets. other than that you will never have to touch this thing! my 99 ram has been awesome besides those two things and i have 180k on the ticker

Nice buy, ive been looking for one of these myself for a beater. Dodge was smart to be the last 1/2 ton truck to still offer a solid front axle.

If you decide you want to sell it, shoot me a pm.

Looks like a pretty nice truck, Congrats Brandon, But whats your weird facination with buying things that are prone to break?

Looks good Brandon! I had a 97 that I sold when I bought my camaro. I had to put in a new intake gasket and also new converter's. Other than that and a new gasket on the transmission pan, the truck ran awesome and never gave me any trouble at all! I miss that truck and wish I would have sold it. Does that have the 318?
