I have an N72 and it does 1080i.

I have it on a 110" screen and it looks great. Of course, it's not really bright during the day, but I don't watch tv at all during the day so it works just fine.

And pOrk is right, woot.com has projectors all the time and they're usually at REALLY good prices, thats where mine came from actually.

We have a N72 at the office. I have always wanted to use it when I am using ACADE.

Puresound15,

Where do you have your projector mounted? One of my next projects is a Home Theater in the basement. X-box 360 on a 110" screen would be killer.

Oh......how are the refresh rates gaming on a projector?

As long as its DLP (since thats what i have experiance with) its perfect, looks awesome. No weird lag, nothing of that sort.

Sorry guys, I was in Texas for a week.

Anyway, the refresh rates are indeed, perfect. I have it mounted to the cieling and a 30' component cable ran from the front of the room (Hense the carpet, I'm way to lazy to run that shit trough the basement) and up a piller that is next to my love-seat.

I love it, in fact, I'm so used to it that I can't even think about buying a 60" TV because they seem so incredibly small to me now. There's no way that I will be buying anything else until this projector bulb burns out, and even then the bulb would be worth it when compared to spending 5x as much on a smaller tv that would only give me a better picture during the day.

When I bought mine from infocus, they had a deal where you could either get $200 off or a free screen, I went with th screen. I purchased another one from woot, and didn't get the discount or the screen but it was still worth it.

The mitsu that im looking at is really really clear. I was actually suprised at first on how clear a projector can be.

It's as clear as whatever picture is coming into it.

Of course, with any projector, there is a "screen-door" effect becuase of the individual mirrors. But with my projector, you cannot see that until you are within 5 feet of the screen, which I never am.

With an HD picture, especially football, it's amazing to watch. I'm not sure if any of you watched Planet Earth on Discovery last year, but that was INSANE on that large of a screen, and in HD.

I put it off for now, but the one i originally posted is the best deal i could find on the net. Best buy even has them, they used to at least. I can do a quick search and get back to you if you would like.
