Just curious if anyone knows people that cater. We're trying to get Rupenas, but it seems that we might conflict with their State Fair Schedule, our wedding is on 8-16-08. Any help is appreciated. :thumbsup

Creative Catering in South Milwaukee on Rawson and 17th ave did my wedding. They were priced very good and the food was great.. Not only that when they dropped off the food, the owner after it was all set up congratulated us and then said thanks again for your business, thats when I knew not only am I getting a good food product but he also cared that we did business with him. 4Eyed can also tell you good things about the owner, he is a stand up guy.

I'd recommend the people that cater our dealership on saturday's......

but then again most people like food with SALT/SEASONING/SPICES/ETC.....(i.e. TASTE)

so i'd avoid them :)

Bunzels in Milwaukee is who is doing ours. They do everything from fancy to casual. Very reasonable too IMO. We're doing a picnic-style wedding and their pulled pork is > *....

davians is on silver spring and like 6 miles West of 45. don't quote me on distance, but its closeish i think. so its closer to you anyway. i worked for the Fair for 4 years, Rupenas A: isn't that good, and B: i've seen how they CONSISTENTLY ran their operation. not good.

None taken. Come to think of it Trysting is more of a picnic caterer.

Davians is a great idea:thumbsup

Yeah, I know exactly where Davians is... Back in high school we had a function at their facility in the Falls...

Plus Rupenas didn't get back to me when they said they'd call me back yesterday... I don't want to have them catering it and then suddenly they don't call me back, or everything is set and they don't show up... I wouldn't think that'd happen, but I like to expect the best....
