Canon EOS 10D

I found one of these online for an excellent price, But I wanted to get some opinions on it before I bought it. Anyone know if this is a decent camera or should I look for something else?

How 'excellent' is the price and from what site? There's tons of scam/shady camera sites out there. Google 'camera scam' and enjoy reading, there's tons. Also check resellerratings.com for any place you are thinking of buying from.

The 10D is ok; but newer cameras give you more for the money. If you aren't going to print over 16x24" prints, that will work. Newer stuff, even the XTi is probably a better buy than the 10D, but it's still a very capable camera. IIRC, the 10D has some issues with some non-canon lenses...but I'm not totally sure on that.

Well its on amazon for 300 so im confident its not a scam, theyve also got a Canon EOS Digital Rebel for the same price which is the better of the 2?
