How do I program my Time Warner remote to operate my tv?

the remote comes with a book that has all the codes for different brand tv's. you need the book.

sHOULD HAVE AIM AND PROGRAM HOLD MUTE AND SELECT TILL THEY BLINK AND HIT CHANEL UP TILL TV TURNS OFF AND HIT MUTE I THINK TO SET IT!!

I just got a new DVR and remote so I still have the book. I'll look at it for you when I get back (the 27th) if you didn't get it figured out by then yet.

it's wore off of mine too and I can't find the book.

1. turn on tv

2. press select and mute button together until the power buttons blink in sequence

3. press and hold ch up button until tv turns off release button

4. press mute button if tv turns back on press select to lock it in

5. IF tv does not turn back on use the ch down button one step at a time until tv turns back on then press select to lock it in
