How can i get files from 1 computer to another computer cheap and easy?

looking for an easy way and a cheap way to get my pictures from one computer to my new computer. Any way to go about doing that other then getting a transfer cable? or is my best bet to save them to CD's? or Host them somewhere? I have to say i have about 2000+ Pics. Any help?

crossover network cable would be the quickest and cheapest way i would think

Or just two ethernet cables and a switch. Don't you already have a network setup at home Flick? Should just be able to use the move to function.

plug in another hard drive...then switch it to the next computer. i have like 10 small ones lying around. its really easy

if your home is networked wirelessly just find the other computer on the network and swap it over.
