I have a 5 month old lab retriever for sale. He was born on 7/7/07 and is a great dog. He is about 40 pounds and has had his shot. Both parents are on site. Great dog for a family with kids. If interested, call me at 414-226-5709
Price is best offer since he is already 5 months old, just looking to cover costs of shot and food.

Why do you need to get rid of him? My mom hepls out with a lot of lab rescues so I/she might be able to help. I doubt anyone will give too much money for him though.

Chocolate labs still go for a premium since they're obviously much more rare... even if it is 5mo. old, that's not bad.

Chocolates are not rare, Silver Labs are rare. My aunt is a Lab breeder, she has 9 chocolate puppies waiting for a home right now. Little known fact: Labradors come in 6 different colors, not just the 3 everyone thinks. Yellow, chocolate, black, white, red, silver.
Good luck with finding a good home for your dog.

Silver is what I really want, but like you said those are really rare. But last time I checked the silver labs still weren't recognized as a seperate color by the AKC, there listed as a variation of the chocolate. I know alot of breaders were trying to get that changed though so maybe it finaly happened.

And PureSound, I believe I have First dibs, look at the posting order :thumbsup

Wow, I had never even heard of a red/silver lab before :0
I looked up some pix, and the red just looks like a darker yellow :P
The silver though, wow... that is nuts.

if you guys are looking for a dog, go to the Wi humane society. There is a Husky mix that's red/white named Charlie on their site. We saw him and took our female Husky, Niya, to visit him to see how they'd do together. They did fine, but we decided another dog at this time is just not a good thing. He is the sweetest, loving dog. Just rolled right up to you and gave you kisses and hugs. He's only a year old, so some training could do some good. He needs a good home and I so want to provide that. Just don't think I have enough space and the possibility of moving to Boston cuts down on that space even more so.
