yeah he is just some dorky kid with a sweet car. That S4 put down like 400+ hp at the wheels so it rips. I just think it is funny how hard that thing pulls on the STi:3gears:

why, so you can fix it every week?

seriously, audi s4's are nothing but trouble... I know 3 people that have them, and every single one of them has had problems on a cataclysmic scale

well if you are running 23psi like this Sportec one is you should expect some issues with the car every now and then. I haven't heard or read about anything too serious with these cars. I think they are cool...they are fast, and you get that Euro BLING:bling

2 of them were stock...

1 blew the water pump at 2200 miles.
the other blew both turbos at 9000 miles.

the other one had a chip and suspension
both turbos fried at 5500 miles.

Quality German Engineering at it's best right there.

and i understand that if u keep seeing the same things wrong then something is wrong....my dad being a mechanic i get the scoop on lots of cars that come into his shop day in and day out....

my boss's s4 is pretty fun, new exhaust/downpipes with PCM tuning ..... that thing bangs for a little car... its much nice than a normal econo box too

The S4's are fairly reliable, but a chip will eat the stock turbos for lunch eventually... they are probably the weakest part of the powertrain.

The car is expensive to repair though, and any hard driven S4 probably shouldn't be owned out of warranty unless you are mechanically savvy and willing to work on them. (Get an aftermarket warranty if the oem one has expired).

Bolt on tuning kits can also take the car from 275hp to over 400hp... which is really nice considering Audi makes some of the best looking car interiors shy of the super luxury cars.
