Saturday during the snow storm a dude spun out into my lane and I t-boned him at about 15 mph. Luckly it was in the girlfriends pos and not my car. I'm pretty sure it well be declared the other guys fault, since he spun out and entered my lane, otherwise it might be blamed on the weather (ugh). This was on Main street in waukesha near bluemount (hwy 18).

Now the real question: What are some cheep body shops to get the car half ass fixed (ie: little or no new paint, simple pound out) and what are some pricey body shops to get estimates at for insurance?

Thanks in advace.

This doesn't help you find a shop but..

I thought that in Wisconsin, both parties are ALWAYS at fault. I believe you would be 5% at fault just because you were there, and 95% the other drivers fault because they weren't driving according to the conditions.

Sorry, good luck finding a shop. I've used Gillette before, I think Joe might have too.

Bilco is very much in business. They actually aren't that cheap, but can be if that makes sense. They are a body shop that will do a half assed job if you want/pay them for one, but if you want a nice job they do very nice work. I know the entire family, and am personally friends with Bill(the owner)'s son, who does awesome work. It all depends on how much you wanna pay. It's sad that the people who walk in there looking to get things done for real cheap give them a bad name. They are the most honest shop i've ever been to. Bill is just trying to support his 15 kids lol.

They have a lot of talented people. They do full restorations, one offs. I have used and recommended these guys for years.

Ask for Russ: (262) 567-8488

Thanks for the advice guys. What do you guys think I should expect to pay to just "hammer it out" without any repainting. The bumper is dented, but its pretty rubber-ish and dents pop out easily. Or otherwise, what do you think I can get fixed for $350 or so?

Turns out it was declared the other drivers fault and we got paid for it. Not sure how much though yet because my name wasn't on the insurance (stupid privecy policy).

West Way Auto Body, The owners name is Mike and he has been great friends to our family for years. I see him just about every other day. They do great work and last i know were super busy but he might be able to squeeze you in.

I know he is in milwaukee somewhere.
