who was tellingme about a cable they used and didn't have lag? i needed a 80 footer at least to get to my basment from the modem in the living room. with posts lost i forgot who it was

That's a really short distance. Any store cable would work just fine. The only time I have ever seen lag was in a system that was at the limits of cat5 cable which is around 5000 ft.

cat 5 is what i think was the cable someone was talkin about. how much would such a cable run me?

damn it i should have waited for a responce lol i went and bought a 100' cat6 cable and it works fine just i guess i shoulda waited a little longer any one up to play forza tonight? my xbox live is also LILWS6 so look me up
