I guess it's time for something new.
Anybody want to takeover the lease on my '06 TBSS? or buy, I guess.

AWD with most options. If I remember all the options, the
only things it doesn't have is NAV, rear entertainment, and
rain sensing wipers.

Payment is $399.77 (with tax), but I would be willing to throw in a bit
of money so it would bring that down. Residual is $25,264 (you
can probably get one like this for about that now:crying).

Lease is done 4/27/2008, so there are 8 payments left (was a 27 month).

Mileage at lease end is 27023 and there are about 15550 on it now,
so that would be about 1,350 a month.

I've never done a lease transfer before, but I read that it works OK.
I do think that there is a lease transfer fee of $595.

PM or email if interested and any other details.

Thanks,

Dave

Never towed anything with it, but Chevy says 6,600 lbs with the AWD.

Looking at the docs, it says "purchase option at the end of the lease" is
$25,764.80, but the residual value is $25,264.80. Sticker was about
$39,500 (leasing works in this case).

I've sold and traded in leases before and never dealt with the "purchase
option at the end of the lease", but the residual value. I believe that it
would be better to purchase the vehicle just before the last payment, then
you wouldn't have to deal with the extra $500. Not sure about this, maybe
a GM dealer person could help on this. Also, I've heard that there can be
some negotiation in the buyout price if it is high (I guess it would be for GM
to sell that way, rather than have to take it in and sell it lower at auction),
but maybe somebody can help on that too.

Would be nice to have it for 8 months and if it doesn't work, give it back,
if you like it, buy it.

One thing that I did forget to mention is that it does have a tranny cooler.
