If she uses Outlook I'd recommend getting a Pocket PC.

I have a Sprint Palm Treo 700wx with Windows Mobile 5

I can browse the web, My email syncs wirelessly. (if I read a message on my phone, it's marked read on my computer. Or if I delete it, its gone in the same fashion.) This is an exchange server function, so if her work uses exchange I would look into it. Ask IT dept if they will support it.

I have to admit though... my phone is a quirky SOB, but I can deal with it for all the added functionality. You occasionally have to reboot it like any Windows machine :rolf

I too have the Treo 700wx and love it. I had the 700w previously (last years model) and it was a bit slower and even quirkier than my current one, but alas, it's a great phone/planner.
