is a hood required at GLD??? is one required for driving down the street??? if so i better get going on that project:devil

they will let you run without a hood,but it needs an air cleaner.

certain towns may not allow you to drive down the street with no hood. at minimum, they may pull you over and harass you if they dont wanna ticket it

Took nuts to drive it through WA without a hood thats for sure. The car sounded sick BTW

Kinda related.....
I had a State Patrol dude come by my work to see this huge
smash in my window where this untarped chuckelhead in a dump
truck tried to kill me one day with a rock on my way to work.

So after he confirms that half of SE WI has been complaining
about the driver he says he needs to take a picture of the
window for there file. After several shots of the car...from
about every angle Im thinking he is gonna write me a ticket
for about a dozen illegal things on my car...he then says:
"Man that is the coolest Chevette I ever seen, nice supercharger".

He obviously didnt care about the large growth from out of the hood!

my dad drive around w/o a hood the first day he put the roots style blower on his coronet and got pulled over, but the cop thought it was cool and let him go. at the track, ive seen alot of guys run w/o hoods and they usually dont care

I think it is funnier that he callled it a chevette
