Edit: It really wasn't that bad, I did hit 13s, and they told me that I need to get a helmet... So I guess I'll go back on a cooler day and see what I can do... I just need more practice with it...

From what I've been hearing, it should be faster... Therefore I'm saying it's the driver, not the car. I'm sure the car can do what any other Mach 1 can do... I think I just need more seat time...

This is the fastest car I've owned and taken to GLD, so I need to get use to it. It's also a mod motor as opposed to a pushrod motor like I'm use to...

Definately not letting off before the lights, but like I said, I need a little better track prep and some more seat time..

That's why I said that I know the car's got it in it, it just needs a better driver.

I can at least say that I was improving throughout my entire time at the track.

Plus my 60' time sucks, I need to work on that (it's right around a 2.2)

Mine was a really fun car until it hit 130k, then the power steering went, the AC compressor locked up, something in the differential shattered and the 3rd gear syncro started going out. This was all in the space of a month :rolf I did 140mph in it though, through Utah during a road trip from WI to CA. :)

did you lower the tire pressure or do a burnout both of those helped our 60 ft and for our best pass with stuff we had to back all the way up into the waterbox to get the street tires wet and pull to the edge of the waterbox that got us a 2.0.

I remember pulling on Stock Mach's Modded mach on the street when mine was stock, I didn't think they trapped that high. Sounds like Joe's car is a serious threat to mine.
