Under the hood looks terrible. Almost as if oil squirted everywhere.

Is this in the ballpark for miles a day?

2001 = 7 years of service
52 weeks in a year
260 work days a year not incl holidays
7 years / 260 work days = 1,820 work days in 7 years
699,588miles / 1,820 work days = 384 miles a day

Why in the hell would you put a car up for sale and claim any more miles than it actually has?

Our 2.5mo old Corolla has 8,000 miles on it... (it had 150 when we got it)

Plus that's a friggen Cargo Van... Could be movers or something, someone that has to drive all around hell and back...

That's one of the big reasons why people buy diesels is when they have to put crazy high miles on it. When I was checking out ebay for a diesel pickup there was always one in texas with really high miles for the year.

its a delivery van. prob was run 7 days a week. one of our work vans at the State Fair was first a DPW vehicle for west allis, then sold to a catering service the city "owned" and then came to us. it was a 01 with i do believe 380k on it, and this was in 05. its more then possible.

That cargo area and rear bumper are in really nice shape for the miles and work that van has done. I would be curious to see the seat and steering wheel.
Harley and JL French sends courier vans to pick up stuff up from my work and the courier vans are lucky if they have 200k on them and they are just destroyed all over.

I might try to get the 700k Ford if it goes cheap enough.
