I dunno, I don't think I would want -anybody- writing on my dash, I don't care who he is...lol Maybe underneath the hood or something, but not on my dash.

domokun

its paint tho and facing the driver car is in the garage alot

those paints pens DO wipe off an fade after awhile, I learned the hard way then I had something signed last year.

most DEFINITLY take off that dash an get it cleared!!! just a forewarning if it means that much to you!

Reverend Cooper
07-26-2007, 12:20 PM
it will be hard to remove its on the carbon fiber stuff wonder if it can be cleared in the car?

domokun
07-26-2007, 12:24 PM
any dash part CAN be removed!!! big or small.

Take the part out and have it shot with clear. I would have struck up a conversation on planes with him hahah, i guess thats one of his other big fetishes, he loves his 727's.

pickardracing
07-26-2007, 01:29 PM
notice how theres no actual shots of the signature.

it probably says somehting like 'i was paid 6000 bucks for this' or 'i didnt build this car for jags like you'.

:D :D :D :D :D

Wow coop that is really cool. I wonder now how much the car is worth now that Jack himself signed it? If it has any money value I mean sentimental value of course is huge though.......

Reverend Cooper
07-26-2007, 04:10 PM
yeah i dont know if it would make a diff. i would think so as shelby signed mustangs are worth more so i hope the same goes, but really it doesnt matter, im just glad he signed it and i got to meet da man

07-26-2007, 04:13 PM

07-26-2007, 04:18 PM
so who;s volunteering to get the dash taken care of in my car soebody has to know something here? i need help!

pickardracing
07-26-2007, 04:45 PM
I personally would take that sharpie, write on something else with it and have that painted to see if the solvents in the paint are gonna bleed the ink.

If it works, then do it. Dont use the signature as a guinea pig though....

GRAMPS SS
07-26-2007, 09:33 PM
^^^^have to agree...you don't want a major screw up.....not like you have the cash to have ole jack come back and stay at your house and sign it again.....or do you....

Lash
07-26-2007, 09:39 PM
I would just take the whole dash pad out and put it somewhere safe...lol. Just get another factory one and throw the signed one back in for shows. You never know if somebody is gonna try and steal it.
