Looking for a cheap 1 bdrm apartment.

My brother is moving into town and is looking. Anyone know of any places either first hand or heard of that is in a decent area(ie: wont get robbed for his change). 1 bdrm looking to spend between 400-500 a month.

I don't know if you're really going to find anything cheaper than $4-500, and if you do it's going to be in the 'not so nice' part of town......:shades

My sister used to live in a complex off of 51st and Coldspring and I think the 1 BRD's. were goin for about $375. This was about 3 years ago, so it might be higher now. Outside parking BTW...

Where I'm moving its about 550 or so for a 1 bedroom. I got a 2 bedroom for 570. And Its in greendale. Not too much worry about getting robbed there lol.

we just gave up a 2 bedroom in the land of no return for 545.00......they have had one empty for a long time before we left and it is still open....plus ours...bet you can make a deal...and you'll be right by your brother.....you can stop over every night for dinner and sunday brunch.....

thier are some downtown racine for about 515 or so... arcade appartments i think.. and some in caladonia for a little more like 550.

Underpsi-How much a month, and is their an outhouse and does that include the tent or is that an extra fee?
Dan-Def going to save on my grocery bill, plus its better food then I could ever make!
Rent DOT com is way to exspensive, and im really looking for something in the area of 350-400, unless it has a driveway/garage so I can work on my whip.

$350-400 is pretty much unheard of unless you like getting shot at and/or carjacked.

i will be moving from clement & howard . the rent is $475.00 for a 1 bedroom no heat or garage but it has new windows and a/c. gas elec $59.00 on the budget. pm for more info. thanks rick
