I got a hold of a set of wheels from my roommates Silverado. The bolt pattern is the same from the canyon to the Silverado. The problem is that the hub on the Canyon is 3.940" diameter hub and the Silverado has a 3.00" hub. So i took the wheels to work spent 30 minutes and machined the hubs out. Tonight my roommate and I mounted the wheels and cranked the torsion bars up an inch. Raised the truck a total of 2.5 inches.

Thinking about tossing some black paint on the wheels.

What do you think?

There's some corrosion under the clearcoat. As to why I've thought about painting the wheels.

It'd be kindA cool if you could leave some of the silver and paint the rest black.

looks nice...my work does industrial sandblast and painting....even though i'm out of work if u went there told them i sent u in prolly get a good deal....we can blast aluminum...instead ofplastic bead however we use glass....i saw a picture of a guy from our kakauna plant whose rims looked polished when they got done blasting them....i'm gonna have them do my winter rims...said the paint they would put on them could withstand rocks andraod debris without chipping

Guys put Silverado SS wheels on these already too hahah Nothing like some big ass 20's on a colorado! It actually looks decent and is the same rolling diameter of those wheels now that are on there. But the colo/canyo's have a larger hub diameter and you need to machine the hub to fit as seen.

PM me some details please,

That might be something I'd get done. strip the wheels down and hopefully blast all the corrosion away and then have the body shop clear the wheels.
