good job!

I'm down to 195 on my way to 175...while I enjoyed the strength at 210, I miss the speed and ease on the joints at lower weights...that, and it sucks doing triatholons/duatholons, and other distance events at 195+ for me.

I remember my entire HS and college football days trying to maintain 200lbs now that I am older I WISH I could just get down to 220lb. The more I work out, the heavier I get, where the phuck were these gains when I was younger!! My goal is to get down to 210lb, I was 248lbs end of last year before my surgery and now I am at an almost comfortable 229lbs. I hate getting old......

damn when i graduated i was only like 5'9" 190 didn't get this big till after high school.....yeah football really doesn't allow me to get any lighter....i am definitely carrying my weight better then i did before....i don't mind weighing alot just depends on how it makes you look....and i am in extremely good health.....i didn't have to have any pre op stuff before my surgery....sucks cuz the 7 months it took to build up for football i am now losing it twice as fast since i can't work out....gonna have to hit the gym hard once they release me to work out on my own....

Not too long ago I peaked out at 218, now down to 188. Feeling a hell of a lot better. Finally back to where I can hop on the mountain bike and really tear it up like I used to. I sure don't feel like a damn tank anymore. I have rediscovered my ribs as well :)

While back said I'm just going to eat better and work out more. I've gotten into running (I've never been a 'runner' and done some 5k races to push myself), and have ridden my bike enough to find it enjoyable again. Feels great.

congrats on your gains, i hope you know though supplements just help you build muscle faster, and better. it doesnt mean you arent natural if you take them.

I'm like 6' 285ish now. I'd hate to see how pathetic my weight lifting measurables are now.

2 years ago I got heavily into lifting and set all my records. I was around 265-270 in weight. Max bench with 365 where I stopped, that was even with being diagnosed with a torn labrum in my right shoulder. (funny in rehab I was having a hard time holding a soup can for 5 minutes, but able to bench still heavy weights lol)

Curls were 150lbs
triceps were 175lbs
I never really did much leg work, bad right wheel.

I bet max bench for me now would maybe be 250 if I really nutted up. No motivation anymore.

You could come over and push mow my lawn if you want. I will provide the gas and the mower. Cheaper than the gym. I can't guarantee you will be able to walk when you are done though.

When you guys are giving your weights on the tris what are you using/technique? I do alot of seated skull crushers with dumbells and am up to about 100#s. What do you use when you say tris 150#s for example?

I personally think that bench and lots of it is the best tricep work out, I don't belive in doing a bunch of little work outs with dumb bells and such, i get the best results from big lifts with lots of weights and lots of sets

I do alot of bench. I am maxing at about 250 on the bench. Close grip bench hits my tris hard. I am just wondering if thats what you guys are saying when you say "tris 250" or what not.

i am talking about a laying down skull crusher with an easy curl bar. i do 4 sets of everything when I am at the gym starting with 12 reps, then 10, then 7-8, and finally 3-4 with heavy weight.

routine -

monday - chest - flat bench, incline bench, decline bench. then dumbbell bench, dumbbell incline, and finally butterfly machine. all 4 sets.

tuesday - biceps - standing big bar curls, sitting easy bar curls, hammer curls, seated incline curls, machine curls, 21 gun salute

wednesday - shoulders - seated military press, shrugs with big bar, standing arnold presses, dumbbell shrugs, british arm raises

thursday - back - bent over rows, dumbbell rows, wide grip machine pulldowns, pullups

friday - triceps - close grip bench, skull crushers, dumbbell raises, machine tricep pulldowns, individual arms, forward and backward grip, dips

saturday - legs - squat, legpress machine, leg extensions, calf raises, hack-squat if I feel like it.

I could lose about 20lbs and then I would be happy. I'm 6' and 195. I noticed after my girlfriend and I broke up I started to gain weight. I guess I wasnt getting as much exercise.

I played loose for my highschool team and then on the wisconsin u19 team I got switched to tight head. It was my first year playing but certainly not my last.
