Dang, 30 mile road course?

that is typical for a street car shootout...they figure that cars that are not race cars should be able to do a 30 mile road course, have a 30 min cool down time, and then do three hot laps with out breaking

Thanks for the info! What qualifies as "pump gas" 93-94 only? I have seen retail 100+ octane pumps.....

It would be nice to get my bugs worked out by then.

It sure is a big gap between the 2 classes though. You go from back-half, race gas, full slick to a pump gas DOT tire. Seems like a mighty big gap.

I guess if there really is going to be a fuel check. I know with my car you cannot tell a difference smell wise with the C16 at all, now the leaded 110 crap will smell after 20 tank fulls of 93.

Im sure they would pull a fuel sample, and if its pretty colors they might pitch a fit then. Could just start running it on Xylene or E85 hahahah nothing in the rules about that as being race gas.

YEs as do i and it says right in the rules its OK, its not an extra power adder on its own.

it says for the exhaust "OR dumps directed outside of the car behind rear doors"

don't know if that's classifying only for a AC cobra kit car or Corvette style exhaust.

i mean i can put dumps on my car and aim them out behind the rear doors

I could run the pump gas class if I could get the car to hook on drag radials. I would be outrun pretty bad in the outlaw class but it may still be fun.
