Best place for cheap or refurb laptops

Looking into getting a cheap laptop to run my Digital 7 box and possibly an EFI system.

I don't know how much you want to spent but dell has an outlet store that sells all refurbished items.

if your requiring a serial port... better double check the laptop has one. Alot dont now a days and the USB to Serials adapters can be flaky

Ebay has thousands of them for cheap.........I bought one for $75.00 to run my Megasquirt. You don't need a very powerfull one for car applications, as far as I know.

True that. My first adapter didn't have the modem eliminator in it and that was why It couldn't communicate
