I have a question about powdercoating something that I never thought I would, a set of horseshoes...!!!

https://www.rewardsnow.com/compass/images/catalog/14720.jpg

I know it can be done but would like to know if there's a difference in coatings as far as hardness goes, or is it all pretty much the same. I just don't want to have them done and two games later all the paint is gone, or will the standard finish hold up OK....

I'd like to get them done in neon orange/green if possible too.....:wooo

Well, look on the bright side... if you suck, you wont chip the paint, right?

they can double bake them and put a coat of clear on there. good luck trying to get that back off.

Well that's what I'm looking for, something that won't come off.....

Call mike at hy-tech powder coating in waukesha, he has a plastic coating He can apply that may do the trick for you!!! We currently are doing the wall supports on the floor for the bradley center the same way, and those take the abuse...

I'm know it's impossible to prevent chipping altogether, but I'd like to find the hardest finish possible so it lasts the longest.....
