Just picked up an olympus stylus 1000 camera today, 10mpix, and a 2 g memory card for under 100 bucks today for the whole thing......package origionally cost 360.....any how I thought I would snap a few pics of the car and test out my pic skills.....tell me what you think.....

Car looks great Nick! the camera seems to work good as well.

but i thought the number 1 rule for picture taking involoving cars is NO GRASS?

oh and did you repaint the car?

nope not yet.....paint and body work get done this winter.....I just know how to hide flaws and crap when taking pics lol

and what do you mean no grass......never heard that rule

Yeah, deals like that are one of the few perks of working at a office supply store....saved 400 bucks off of my laptop a few months ago...

For me, I just always liked the way gravel roads and grass pics look, besides, that is the only place around here that I could get the river and all of its browness in the pics as well...

Anyhow, thanks for the compliment on the car....in person you can see the flaws in it, like paint chips and a litle rust, but what can you expect from a car that gets daily driven and is 20 years old....after this winter, the car should be just as good as when it left the show room floor though (with a little more grunt in it too)

nope, typical fox problem of the lense being gone....I have new ones on order

Nice pics... But I agree with the stay away from the grass... Go for a big parking lot with some stuff in the background... Or something of that sort...
