I was into it.... then my 360 got the ring of death. In case you guys hadn't heard Microsoft extended the factory warranty to 3 years. It is ONLY extended for xbox 360's with the 3 flashing lights. Free repair, free shiping, they even send you the box to put it in.

Guy on the phone told me I have to wait 4 to 6 weeks after it gets sent in. Better than forking over $400 bucks again I guess.

60gig PS3 are now $500, price drop to help sales. BUT when they are all sold out of the 60gig they are only selling the 80gig and that one goes for the orignal $600. Makes no sense to me, I have a PS3 and I have been nothing but pleased with it, I will eventually get a 360 sometime in the near future hopefully.:headbang

You can fix your 360 for free with a couple of towels a lot of the time. You pop the hard drive off, wrap it up tightly in some towels, turn it on and leave it on for 30-60 minutes. The towels will make it get nice and HOT. Some repair places this is all they are doing with a heat gun, this is the home way of doing it lol. Then you unwrap, turn itoff, let it cool for 30-60 minutes and magically it is fixed. Problems with the 360 are related heat affecting several things - conductive paste between the chips and heat sinks, and cold solder joints that break when heat warps the main board. Heating it up super hot has a good possibility of resoldering those joints and reseating that paste.

I would try that before mailing it in. Also, I know a kid locally that fixes em in a few days for $70, he actually replaces the board holddowns that cause it to warp, redoes the paste, etc. pretty much exactly like Microsoft does. If its worth $70 for you not to wait 4-6 weeks or more he does them with a few days turnaround.

Mine had a red ring a few times but then I bought the case fan and it stays on sometimes for days with no issues.

best car ever is the lotus with 450hp and only 1466 lbs!!!! NOTHING could touch it! 2nd fav car is the Talon full race prep with all aero parts then a Lingenfelter C5 with 900 hp.

My only real complaint with Forza is that when you finally find a car you like, you can't use it anymore. That and the mfg spec races, I've yet to complete one of those yet. Once you start driving the fast modified cars, it's a little hard to go back and race stock Porsche 914, or Ford Focuses.

I think I'm more addicted to the painting of cars then anything else right not. Check out the forums at forzamotorsports.net. People are doing amazing things. Like this Terminator car

Definitely play with it some more. I got my gt40 to do 262 on nissan speedway. I also got the sale car to perform great in the mock 1/4 races on nurburgring. They race from the bridge back to the start line. Give it a try. It isn't that stable but I can hit 225-226.
Games are what you make of it. Have fun with them.
