So the 4th is coming up and I have a party to attend, any recommendations on a dessert to bring? It doesn't necessarily have to be red, white, and/or blue but something that is very good (obviously) and would taste good on a warm day.

Thanks!

I got a really good receipe for angel food cake with cream cheese and whipping cream along with a topping of blueberries on it. Fatting but good as hell chilled. People love it! If you're interested let me know and I'll send you the recipe:thumbsup

watermelon

corn on the cob is classic and easy to quickly grill up(i know you said desert, but figured i'd toss this one in)

not a big fan of things that melt like ice cream cake, unless you have access to a freezer and keep it inside. Otherwise strawberry shortcake is a good quick desert.
