I'm looking for a fishing spot within maybe an hour's drive of Milwaukee...Typically we go someplace about two hours away, but I don't want to make the drive.
Does anybody know of a nice spot with pier or shore fishing?
Has anybody been to a place with good activity lately?
Also bait that has worked would be good information.

Lake Beulah..clearest water around..for pan fish..typical worm, hook, and bobber..for bass...WEEDLESS worm.. water is so clear its like cheating as you can see them hit it.

alot of Chicago guys come to Delavan Lake and Lake Geneva. You just take I-43 South towards Beloit. From the Hwy 100/layton ave it's about 45 minutes to Delavan Lake and about 50 Mintues from Lake Geneva.
