Have you tried from under the car?

have you tried unbolting the wishbones and pulling the motor forward? That or from underneath is usually the easiest way.

no wishbones on the bonnevilles to do that.

How much are you paying? :rolf

Also make sure when you do put the plug wires back on, put loads of dielectric grease inside the boots, it will help them from getting stuck in the future.

I don't know how bad the plugs are to get to around the headers/manifolds, but you could try one of these if all else fails: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/LT1-LS1-Short-Spark-Plug-Socket-Free-Replacement-1-3-8_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ43998QQihZ011QQitemZ3 20130262767QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

YES BOTH, from Top or Bottom, all i can do is touch them,
but can not get a grip to pull the wires off.

YA
the WHOLE engine/Trans assembly, would have to be unbolted, and Dropped strait down to do something like that!

NOT a good option. thx for the ideas tho.

I'll pay whatever!

I have one of those spark plug sockets,
thats not the problem,
there is not enough room for my Hand to get the WIRE Off.

any body got some Strong Skinny Hands
that can pull them wires off for me?
:confused
