I have a nice used magnaflow cat back for a 2003 yukon(NOT XL) I belive it fits tahoes also. It had the 5.3 in it.
As for sound its perfect for a daily. You get a little rumbble but its nothing where your downing your ears out on the freeway, but enough to know its got exhaust on it.
