I needed something to change up the looks of the TA a little bit. So bought some 18" Ruff Racing 280s

Thanks

Yoo if you do I recommend US Rim Supply. They turned my order around pretty quick and were very reasonably priced. They advertise on Ebay alot.

I wished they made the 280 in a polished or satin finish. The chrome I felt was too bling blingy for the black. But the titanium color really matches my engine bay well.

looks great.

and to think a few years ago 18" was blasphemy on a third gen.

looks great. A funny comparison would be to show your car w/ a set of stock 14's or 15's bolted on, and then these.

Yeah a couple years ago I would have been saying 18's were stupid big on a thirdgen as well. But I think this years World of Wheel made me rethink that stance. Seemed to me like everything has atleast 18's on them, and it made the 17's on my car look small.

Overall they really aren't that much bigger. I think it's actually under an inch with the tires.

Love the new wheels! Car looks great on them, and i agree i wouldn't go any bigger then 18's on a 3rd gen.

and great brakes too, i think that is one of the cleaner third gens i've seen!

so true about big wheels these days. I remember when I bought my car that 17 seemed HUGE and now 18s or even 19s are becoming commonplace and actually look good.

Don't be jealous. Get a Home Equity loan and you can have them too! New brakes AND a tax deduction :rolf
