You can swap an LS1 into an Audi with a longitudinal engine under the hood. In fact, the LS1 fits in there better than any of the audi engines (except v6)!!!

cheaper yes...but not much faster as those cars weigh so little that all you do is sit and spin unless you spend $$$ on suspension

all and all we are all gonna yay or nay parts of why it was done, or why it shouldn't of been done and all that...

but if you wanna throw an LS1 into an EVO and have the money to do so...more money to you....id much rather see a LSx motor swapped into a 240SX or a 2nd gen RX7...

Is it just me or id that missing the belt around the SC pully? all in all i think if i heard that pull up next to me i'de be like whoa thats one bad ass sounding 4 popper :) then i would notice the intake pipe through the hood and question him

LOL ya the belt is off the SC. It does sound pretty badass and has potentiel. If he can make it AWD and get a good suspension that would be a pretty wicked set up. just my opinion
