Anyone else catch the fly over tonight? Went from NW to SW, shuttle first then ISS. The kids and I went up to the park and waited for it and about a minute after they were due they went over. It really was a rare event to catch both together around here.

Anyway, I was more interested in watching them but I did snap off this exposure, thats Jupiter for a reference. The shuttle actually looks brighter than the ISS, it just must have been the angle during this particular time.

Tomorrow night, if the shuttle doesn't land, they can bee seen again, or at least the ISS: http://spaceflight.nasa.gov/realdata/sightings/cities/view.cgi?country=United_States&region=Wisconsin&city=Milwaukee

That's awesome! No one seems to care about stuff like this anymore, and that's pretty sad if you ask me. I'm sure your kids will remember it for a long time!

Remember in early December, when the space shuttle took off at night from FL? I was departing from Fort Meyers at 8:10 pm and 5 minutes after we lifted off the captain came on and instructed us to look off the right side of the plane, the shuttle was launching!! I saw a huge orange flame shooting into the sky, then watched it go into space! A perfectly clear night over FL

That was the coolest thing I have ever seen! The shuttle is ridiculously cool!

Looks a bit cloudy out there. Last night the problem was alot of haze and clouds at each horizon. Looks like it will run low on the south horizon, no more than 10 degrees above.

The width of a finger is about 1.5 degrees I am told, but don't quote me on that.
