Yeah there was water almost up to the roof that was brown from rust. I wonder how it looks after they took it out, if they took it out. It is kind of a shame they waited 50 years to unearth it and to see that.

They are going to 'reveal' the actual car at 6:30pm today, so the pictures should be up shortly.....


I was studying the pictures and it looks like the bottom/sides were poured concrete which wouldn't have leaked. The top looks like it let water in right at the edge, it should have been larger then the bottom piece or sealed with something.....:chair:

That's really sad, all that work/money spent and it would have been in better condition just sitting in someone's garage......
