now this may Shock you, considering the DSM guy i am. but me and my buddy have been building up his Camaro. and its been kind of a secret until now.(since i just posted up a bunch of SBC parts i figured somebody would ask) so here you go.:headbang

basic specs:
3rd gen Camaro
bored .60 over 350 Block
Full TPI setup with holley commander Fuel injection soonon its way
rebuilt 700R4 with a B&M shift kit
suspension: undecided as of know (most likely going with a 4 link)
Bortchard built heads. (yes i know laugh it up)
nice cam (i don't know the specs of the cam off the top of my head,id have to ask him)

future as in the next projects for the car. as of the past few days ive been looking for a Diesel truck turbo for this car, so i can start fabbing up the Exh. manifold/ Intercooler piping for it..yes you heard right. ;) forced induction is the only way to go.

I like seeing cars in that stage, you see anything and everything about the car. We did the same thing to my buddies' 83' Z28 (that I sold him almost 9 years ago). Nothing is stock on the car but the body panels (except hood).

We built a strong 383 for it and built up a T-350. What made him stick with the 700R4?

Have fun with that project!...Nice.

Interesting... Makes me want a project like that... Guess I'd need to find garage space first... Then some money... Then a car... :rolf Guess I'm a few steps away from that...

and no it really isnt bad. everything was done by us so far. built the bottom end, rebuilt heads (Major Pain in my ass), completely tore down car (what a fun week that was) so far its not bad. atleast for two 17 yr olds with nothing better else to do.:thumbsup
