If there's a list of things to do before you die going to a NHRA event is one of them. A few years back I took my cousin who was not really a drag racing fan and he was wetting his pants as the Top Fueler's went by, it was great.....:devil

What day did you go? i went on saturday!! The first round of top fuel and funny car sucked ass! Every fuel car blew the tires into orbit at the 1/8th and there was 3-4 funny cars that made a full pass but had to let off about the 1000'. I assume you got to see ashley forces car drive over the crank?? you could actually feel the concusion from when it went!! on the slow mos the car jumped like 6 inches off the ground!

And BTW Ashley is even hotter in person!!! We stood by her pit for about 20 min to get a good glimpse lolololol

No close ups of Ashley, sorry guys. I tried seeing her but she was no where to be found in the pits or anything. Saw John walking around but no Ashley.:confused

I went on Friday all day and night, then just crashed in Illnois and drove home Saturday. It was pretty cool. I agree with ya Tom, the damn cars kept having to get outta it...I saw only a few that actually went full speed down the 1/4 mile. All in all though it was a great experience and meeting Andrew Hines was the best part of the day :thumbsup Besides having the seats rumble when the funny cars went down was well worth the drive...I can't wait to start building a prostreet truck after college now;)


BTW, sorry for the blurry pics at night a bit, still trying to figure the new digi cam out and what works best on it and I'm suppose to be an engineer lol:goof
