My comet pics from 1997

I took a few pics of the comet Hale-Bopp when it came cruising through back in April 1997. I had totally forgotten that I had taken a few pics...I recently stumbled upon the roll of negatives. Scanned a few negatives here at work, still playing with the scanner settings trying to get the best results.

If I recall correctly it was a 1 to 1.5 minute exposure...

Isn't that the comet that all those brainwashed retards committed suicide for? They claimed an alien ship was following the comet and they had to kill themselves to get on it. So about 20 idiots committed mass suicide and they all had a roll of quarters to "pay" to get on. What a bunch of bum wipe.

I remember that well from the ground and the air. I had a seat on that side of the airplane and the view from 35000 feet was amazing. Thanks for sharing.
