:fire:fire:fire I got a notice from the county that they received a complaint about my motocross track that has been there for 6 years! im so mother FN pist! the **** sticks could not get us on anything (no sound ordinaces) we have over 10 acres zoned agricultural which means i can ride wat ever the **** i want to on my property in waukesha county. It states we moved to much dirt WTF the dirt all came from ON SITE from the asphalt driveway 4 YEARS AGO which had a premit pulled. all i have ever done in 4 years was redo a section or 2 but no extra dirt was brought in. or knock the weeds off the sides to make it look nice. also being agricultural i should be able to move any one site dirt as much as i want that was permit pulled? or i was told. It states i need a permit to move dirt and my track needs to be leveled by June 29th, I ride maybe 3 times a month after noon and end by 6 to be generous!but all i have to say is im riding EVERYDAY TILL I CANT SEE IN FRONT OF ME till the day we have our town meeting about it!! YOU WANT NOISE YOU ******* GOT IT!!

It's no more of an eye sore then my neighbor behind me who hasn't cut their grass yet this year. Only time is got cut last year was the 2 times the city came and did it.

right now my bike with the pipe on it is 104 decibles competition only, i have a screen to make it 96 to ride on state property if someone wants to fight ill put it in but itll come out as soon as they drive away. Because of People like this i have to through tech in minnesota and pass noise regulations to race.

we have lived there 11 years been riding dirtbikes for 8 years there and the track has been there 6. all the houses nieghboring are new owners after the track was put in that are close enough to complain and all have ATVs and all are cool with what i have done, hell they come over and watch.

It's a lot of fun in August when the Pro's are in town. They all stay at the Holiday Inn by the Fairgrounds in Rochester and a few other Hotels right in that area. You can walk through the parking lot and see all of the trailers and motorhomes. I saw Ricky Carmichael washing his motorhome one day. I wanted to ask him for a pic but didn't want to bother him. It was pretty cool.

That place has improved so much over the years. It is a nice track. The Martins are nice people to. That was my delivery area when I worked for Spee Dee Delivery. I got to know them pretty good. Anyway I will let your thread get back on topic. Just thought I would ask if that is where you race.

for one i dont ride constantly maybe <stressing maybe 3 days a month after noon and done by 6, also the person who complained DOESNT EVEN LIVE IN THE AREA! he complained cuz he drove by!!!!!!!!!!:flipoff2: but i have no doubt ill be able to keep it, they told me last night that there isnt really anything they can do about the track, as we are pretty much legit on everything they are complaining about a dirt pile to close to the property line (that the county dumped i forgot they brought me some dirt lol) and the hole where the trucks got stuck..:thumbsup

So the Lady from the town came out today to do some survey. She said well lets take a walk to see what we have going on here before i get my equipment out. She asked where is the opposed problem once they got out on the property, my dad shows her the "little" area my track is in and shes like this is it? my dad in shock was like yup. She takes a walk around and says, I dont see what the problem is. Where does your property end my dad showed her to the woods and the corn field. shes like your agricultural? YES!! She said well then I see no problem at all, ill tell them in the meeting on monday and see what happens.

well hopefully you guys win this one. on a lighter note, you allow 4 wheelers on your track. its time to get the beast out and tuned for the summer. it needs to be jetted since the Bore job. running on the lean side. and id be pissed if it blew up after $700 worth of engine work.

so far it seems we are still ahead as they seem to be siding with me. They came and surveyed it and also found the track has been seen from satelite almost 8 years ago, they said we have no other records of complaints. i used to ride 3-5 days a week untill 2-3 years ago. SHe also if its true i only ride 3 times a month and everything is pretty well kept up and taken care of the lady sees no problem. we'll just see what comes to it at the board meeting...
