I just bought a new boat. Its a 2006 Ranger 618vs. It has a 150 optimax motor. I still need to put a few odds and ends on like locators gps and rod holder and a 9.9hp pro kicker. I pick it up this saturday so pics will be up as soon as I get back from breaking it in.

the optimax was on the boat and I dont feel like messing around with switching motors. I got a great deal on the boat as well. As far as going fishing I always wanted to get something going on Pewaukee lake but it really never turned out.

ya thats all i do is fish muskie on pewakee. i do alot of trolling so i need to get some rod holders for this boat. they have the rails so it will be easy to mount them and i dont have to drill holes yet. lol.

I heard you can cut the rangers into 4 pieces and they still float. Not sure if that true or not be either way looks like fun!

Anyone know of a good boat dealer that will install a locator and keel gaurd for a decent price. I called mw marine and they said 4 hours of labor at 98 dollars and hour for those 2 things.
