I dont think its even necessary to put anything further besides the title of this thread....

The very expensive trans is dead due to freak incident and motor has typical LT1 oil leaks.
whole or parts

Im at a crossroads and am looking at my options

dont do it john.....you love that car.....and you of all people should know that cars like it when you throw huge amounts of money at it....I thought there was some type of warrenty yo had on that trany from the place you had it built at...

Its not about the attachment, its about the want to be continiously putting money into to and making a practical decision. Sure it likes the $$, but I need it too :goof. Sure I can let it sit, but that doesnt change the fact that eventually the $$ for motor, trans and other things will still have to be put into it.
One of the tranny cooling lines running to the radiator got a pinhole in it & most all the fluid left. Was a freak thing that happened and is no ones fault.

Right now there'd be no replacement - yup I said it & and as picky as I am dont know what I'd get either. hell, it took me how long to find wheels I liked for this one.

well, lets see john.....you had a dodge (the daytona), then you had the heat seeker.......I think it is time to get a Ford performance car (well the daytona is about al the performance that dodge had back then lol), and no the ranger dosnt count.

Fine but you better be getting an ls1 bird, and not another dodge....the daytona was enough
