Im pretty sure August 18th would work for us, it would have to be sometime in the middle because the begining and end is pretty Booked!! july wouldn't be bad but not the 27,28 or 29th lions fest is going on that weekend, big carshow/cruise we always attend...not sure what else is going on but August sounds good so far & Bender park would be great!~weather permitting

Whitnall Park has good lots for parking, and could be used to have our cars.

The problem is that having a "Car Show" in a park is not really having a place where everyone can show off their rides in one area.

The topic of having a BCM car show in 07 has been slightly discussed this year, but nobody has stepped up to the plate to offer their business lot for a car show.

I think a charity show, at a local business would create good pub for our site.

The 06 car show was at a Stereo Shop in Hales Corners, and it turned out pretty well. Unfortunatly the BCM member who worked there, is no longer there.

But if you, and others are just looking to do a cookout, I think Brown Deer, or Whitnall are better spots.

What about Miller Park when the Brewers have an away game?

We paid for that parking lot right? Does no good just sitting there empty.

By the water would be nicer I think. Parks are ok but park with water even better

Yeah once it get the mustang tunned then I'll be able to do a burnout but you shouldn't be so hard on yourself

I second that.

on a side note August is looking iffy for us now, Lots of events going on and our move in date is either begining or middle of august so it would have to be before or after that happens. Not clear on a day yet though but maybe we could plan on something 2nd/ 3rd weekend in July? or Saturday/Sunday the 28th-29th Late afternoon?

suggestions on a date that would work for everyone.. should make a Pollup!

one big question....who is taking responsibility for the event since you are calling it a BCM CAR SHOW AND BBQ..just in case something happens to someone or someones car...shit does happen as we all know....and maybe not calling it a BCM car show would help....just call it a picnic and all from BCM are invited, that way liability is not on BCM....not to play lawyer, but we all know what can happen

I think it would be fine as a BCM Picnic. Just nobody should go jump in any fires.
