Try credit unions such as Landmark. They aren't as fical about credit history as most banks, and usually offer better rates.

i went through wells fargo and would not recommend them. high rates, high closing costs, everything was bad. i was in a hurry and did not shop around, luckily i paid it off so i don't have to deal with their mortgage department ever again! try credit unions, usually cheaper rates and closing costs. plus don't give wells fargo any money, they get enough from all the illegals that they are giving home loans to!

my loan is through countrywide...it was an "OK" experience. They got the deal done but I had to do a lot of legwork etc which isn't cool
