Finally got my bike thrown back together after it being torn down for 6 months.... Here's what it looked like before:

How it sat for the first 4 months:

How it sat for the next 2 months with the rim issue going on:

And how it is now, I still have some more things to throw on it but these are the most recent pics without all the rest of the things on it such as led lights, chrome engine covers to replace the black ones, a little bit more carbon fiber accents, and so forth on:

I'll put some more updated pics of it up once I get the Cutty back together and actually have time to work on this one again. Whatcha guys think? Not bad for a chick doing this project?:thumbsup:thumbsup:banana1::banana1:

Was it just plastic and rim damage? Sorry if I missed the story on it.

Bike looks great though.

Basically the bike got backed into, ran over and dragged across the US Cellular parking lot while I went in to pay a bill. Long story short the bike was in good condition frame wise, motor wise, except cosmetically. The insurance company decided to total the bike out because of the amount of money due to the fairings and rim damage which were small gouges in them. I decided on buying it back, fixing it up to where I wanted it to be, and going from there because nothing was wrong with it safe wise. It rode straight down the rode and everything. Besides I weighed the pros and cons on buying a new one after paying this loan off, and this was the best way to go:thumbsup

Nice job getting it back together. Did you just buy new panels or fix em up yourself? I bought an FZR 600 a few years back and redid some of the panels and painted it myself. Was kind of a fun project.

I only needed to buy one new panel which was the left fairing and the others had a bunch of lil gouges in them but the body guy who did the body work and painted the bike did an amazing job. I was extremely impressed with his work done to the bike. He saved me tons of money and the paint is immaculate :thumbsup The project was def fun and I'm a huge fan of bikes now, I learned a lot while disassembling it and throwing it back together again. :thumbsup Got to be a real pain in my ass though when it started to get nice out, and I had all the parts back but no time to work on it :rolf:rolf:rolf Go figure though lol

That's the best part is learning by tearing stuff apart. That's cool that you got it ready for summer though. Congrats, like I said, it looks great. Now put some stickers on it and it'll go faster! lol

No stickers for this one, it's gonna stay naked because imo it looks way better plus I've got some other plans for it in the near future;)

It does look good the way it is. I was just kidding with the stickers. Man, a girl that drives a fast ass car and a nice crotch rocket.......you must be beating guys off with a stick.
