View Full Version : suggestions for removing scratches in clear coat.

my grand am has alot of surface scratches, not deep or anything...except for the key line from the headlight to the door on my front fender...but even that isn't that deep...and suggestions what i should do or use to get rid of them....besides a new pant job lol

2000 grit wet sanding and good buff job with a real buffer and a good fine polishing compound meant for brining back shine after wet sanding.

I good detail job should be able to buff them out.

Make it easier on the buffing stage and go from 1500, to 2000, to 2500. 2500 buffs RIGHT out :)
