Unofficial "Official" looking letters ? :)

i wanna scare some customers there were being VERY ignorant and disrespective. Swearing up and down the whole dealership threatening me with lawsuits and the better business bureau and all kinds of shit.

all because, (get this) we wouldn't allow her to use a credit card that was in someone else's name that she didn't even HAVE the card on her but kept swearing up and down it was her dad's. so she went off the deep end.

telling me how my name was gonna be in the journal sentinel and have a huge article and crap. i kept laughing and EVEN gave them my business card asking for them to get their lawyer to call me directly. Although i went a little bit over my boundaries when i suggested calling Hupy and Associates since I just golfed with them the other weekend, hahaha. So she kept swearing and using racial insults. Finally I had enough and told her she could wait outside.

She goes outside, then her mom comes in and demands to release her car from the body shop, or suffer the consequences. I laughed inside, but oh well. I made her mom write a check for the $1000 and then I made sure we telechecked it to see if it had the funds.

I swear, this side of town has the stupidest and most lazy individuals i've ever met. Telling how they are gonna sue, it's the first thing these lazy people do.

I'm still steaming, but laughing at the same time. I want to send them a letter from a lawfirm saying that if specific names are used, a lawsuit will be brought against them for slander/libel :)

I know, it's just SO funny that people want to protect their own credit, but want to let little things slide.

Look for my name in the Journal Sentinel!!!!

Dude i love those people.... the something for nothing crowd... i used to deal with that shit when i was handling warranty issues for dealers while i was at Tecumseh. They threaten, swear, piss and moan... what happens in the end? Nothing. They just push to see how far they can get, when you bring out the " NO STORM " and stick to your guns its gets to be fun. I learned alot about arguing in similar situations, the calmer you stay, the more pissed they get. BWHAHAHAHAH People are always guilty until proven innocent in my book when it comes to the stuf i delbt with in warranty.

I wouldnt even bother sending that. That could add fuel to their fire then come after you for harassment and if you forge a legal document i am sure that is another huge no no and could be looking at other charges. Just keep laughing like you are, post about it on the net but do not send the letter

I KNOW, it was more of a joke to post that up :) like i said, i gave them my card to have the lawyer call me directly. if i get a call, my answer will be, "i'm sorry for following my corporations guidlines as well as the guidelines set forth by the federal government when dealing with credit fraud"

I work on 76th and good hope rd area on the northside of milwaukee for a car dealership. I'm a salesmanager/finance manager for my store. Our general manager is at auction all the time so i get to run the place.

Chris that is exactly the thing that will give them ammo to use against you & cost your job. I wouldnt do that- let it go and let her make the next stupid move unless you actually have an atty write it up.

I pranked a family friend like that.

I wrote a very official looking letter to a family friend that appeared to be from a Police Department.

I basically had it saying that they failed to appear in court due to wreckless driving and that a warrant was out for their arrest etc, etc.
I copied and pasted the logo that i got from the internet, made a letter head and used the same green ink color.

Man they were scared, so they turned themselves in only to find out that the PD told them it wasn't real and tha tthey just got pranked LOL.

To this day our family friend is still trying to figure out who did it.

BTW: this was back in the day, this is when a prank was a prank.

We'll wait and see if Katrina Cravy calls or if the Journal Sentinel calls. If so, then I'll have a field day with this :)

Lol yeah i wouldnt do shit for letters, could get your ass in hot water real fast doing that. You won the battle, be content with that.

PS you will NOT being seeing your name in the paper or getting a visit from a news crew... Everyone seems to think that news team or legal action threats will make a place of business stop dead in their tracks and bow down... sorry most places have bigger and better lawyers than the consumer... Drive around next window please... bwhahahahaah

oh yeah. i've met our lawyer. he's funny.

the VP of service for our dealer group called me this morning to laugh about everything. She's been calling him all day long. He goes, "i'm suprised at just how ignorant she is with her name calling and her swearing"

i know it won't end up in the paper, but one can hope. I mean imagine the horror..... Front page news!!!! "Dealership refuses to commit credit card fraud!!!"

BWAHAHAHAH

I don't understand how people expect to be taken seriously screaming swears like that.

I can argue with people all day. As soon as they swear at me, I kick them out. I have had to call the police to have people escorted out. They don't understand why I kick them out for swearing. Same with the phone, one swear and "click".

Seeing as how I worked as a tech in dealerships for years and seen it all/ been there done that, I can completely see where it is you're coming from. People mock what they don't understand....(Spies like us, Dan Akroyd/Chevy Chase):rolf

Not sure if you're serious about writing a letter, but you know damn well the situation isn't going to go any further...Their bark is worse than the bite.:durr
