St. Louis Arch

I went through St. Louis on a buisness trip last month. Stopped to see the arch. It was pretty cool. Got to go inside all the way to the top. Took a bunch of pictures. This one makes a good back ground shot for the desk top.

I just used my cheap Cannon Power Shot A85

It sucks that people have carved gang signs and graffiti on the bottom. People can't leave great things alone.

how do you get to the top?

You ride up in a little pod that holds 5 people. It is always rocking to keep it up right as you follow the curve. Kinda like a roller coaster on the way up. I will see if I can find a picture of the pod.
