I don't think they are as bad as some of you think. Sure there are a ton of DSMs out there with broken parts etc but there are plenty that are modded that are running better than ever

So what happened to the camaro ?

sold it, made a few bucks... didnt want to molestest a extremely clean nice car. this is pretty much whats going to happen with this car too... i will keep it for a month or so and then most likely sell it. i want to clean it up really nice (engine bay, interior) those are the only areas that need minor attention.

lol yea... was kinda keepin it on the DL but i am sure others know the price! I'm most likely cleaning this one up... and will sell it to a good friend of mine. otherwise maybe sell it to the public?!?! we'll see.

one thing i like to do is take molested/Hacked cars and make them right. This one really doesnt have any issues... i want to drive it for a month and make sure nothing comes up. The VIN checked out good. The person i bought it from haas owned it for the past 7 years... so i am the third owner. no accidents clean straight body, no body work has been done. Original motor/trans/t-case that are all in PERFECT working order! no 1 or 2 gear grind!!!

i know what you mean. in the next few days ill be picking up a 92 Turbo, 5 speed laser. original owner, 120,XXX and is unmolested. the best part is the guy is in his 60's so it was taken care of.

+1 on that! I have had 4 GVR4's (granted not technically a DSM) that are all modded to one extent or another that have been super reliable... Just have to stay on top of maintenance.

its a hobby of mine to buy and repair/make nice/unmolest cars.... Fix them the right way and usually sell them to my good friends! I buy what my friends are looking for.... make them what they want them to be and then sell the car to them when its done. It makes us all happy!
