Went ahead and got a Belltech 2" front, 3" rear lowering kit for the truck. It had 2 shocks pissing oil anyway, so i got a whole kit with springs for the front, 4 shocks and blocks for the rear.

By far this was harder than installing the ******* headers! The rear u bolt nuts were so crusty it took a 3 foot breaker bar to get them to budge

Had to cut the tops off the front shocks as they i couldnt get the nuts off.... lots of little issues

But it turned out good! just need to get it aligned.

Just quickly pics, its now raining here as you can see...

Now all you need is spindles and blocks or coils and leafs, depending on which way you went with the after market stuff. 5/6 looks AWESOME on s10s ;)

Nope i just got a single 2.5" dynomax cat back on it.... These motors sound weird and i didnt want it too loud.

Lol and beagle, the converter, with like a 75 shot and traction and it might bea good run! Id guess its in the low 15's now, it feels way faster than my xtreme did with all the same mods thus far, but i wasnt able to tune that guy either.

^HAHA

is it going to be able to get out of its own way with that big of a converter? LOL Tom you must have Automotive ADD like me and probly most everyone else on here, as soon as you get something different you HAVE TO tamper with it.

That 3600 stall rating is behind a V8, so it should stall to about 3-3200 behind this mini 350. I had a 3500 stall in my colorado and it was a night and day diff... Cant wait!

Yeah the parking lights lol i was gonna comment in my first post bwahahhaa

Try more like mid 15's like 15.3 or so....I had a friend with an s-10 like yours with sim mods and that is what he pulled with street tires and a 1.9 60'....with that 75 shot, converter and a tune....that is when things should open up for you.

As i said, my 99 xtreme with the same mods went 15.4 @ 86 w/o tuning

This one here with the tuning feels a ton stronger all over now that it has more than 20 degrees of timing and isnt super lean.

Could be, the only way to find out is to take it to the track....Ill give it a go against the 1-0 s-10 in july.....no time to do it in june.....
