And a generic shot of the engine bay as it sits:

The entire undercarriage is being prepped for welding the torque boxes right now, then rustproofing. Ill have pics of that later.

Havent heard many people breaking the 31 spline units, plus its 99.9999% a street car so I wanted something quiet and trouble free. Probably going to throw the carbon clutch kit in it for good measure though.

Isn't the rear end from a Fox not wide enough for a SN95?? Just curious, that's the rumor I had always heard.

Oops, sorry Joe, never saw your post.

The Fox rear end will work in the 94-98 cars, you just have to use 94-98 specific axles (1.5" wider than Fox stuff).

The Fox housing will not work in a 99-04 app, the rear itself is 1.5" wider than the 85-98 units.

Anyhoo, got some more done on the car today.

Removed shitty ass rusted section fron rear quarter:

Welded torque boxes:

Next order of business: cleaning up the under carriage and rust proof/undercoat it.

Yeah, I know. But they sound so bad ass. :p

Call me nuts but I think the big chrome pipes out the back look tacky as ****.

I wish there was a way to get a full exhaust on this thing but have the tail pipes hidden.

Any ideers?

you could make the pipes so they dump out like a fox gt did, just put a bend in the section so they hug the gas tank more towards the top...

Thanks man.

Hopefully going to go get the replacement sheet metal for the back quarter pretty soon, get that tacked on, then get the top replaced.
