no, he went 9.ten - teens to win it, but has been as fast as 8.90 :)

HOT ROD picked alot more "street orientated" vehicles than some of those full bore race cars last year

Also, there were two cars that were heavy hitters that were DQ'd and couldn't race, but had a grudge match at the end. was like an 8.teen to an 8.30

The guy who won(Shiznity is his screenname on ls1tech), alot of times was just chopping down the tree on the guys, so that helped big time.

they bumped minimum weight up a bit for this year as well.
those cars are flyin' for sure.

like i said, it was getting a BIT too racecar'ish with what people were bringing, like last year's Mopar winner. i think they wanted to keep it more street orientated and more realistic rather than a $$$ race like everything else has become
