Well, these won't be as funny as the trip to the bahama pics i had two weeks ago, but the view was just as good of the mountains and it was for the most part great weather.

Just was a fun trip to Phoenix for golfing and some instruction

To start off with, I did not know that once you rented a car through Enterprise, that when you were walking towards your Chevy Impala, that you could "upgrade" for $5/day ;) I pointed out a couple cars and she offered to upgrade for $5/day, of which I said you're damn straight we are going to do!!

So we ended up with this:

Here's some pics of the Villa that we were put up in.

There were two porches/balconies, one on each side of the area. It was higher up so it kinda looked over the city, which is about 45 minutes from where we were.

First day of instruction had the head instructor shoot film of your swing. The next day he went over it in small groups and critiqued what the flaws were and what we were gonna do to help it.

Two courses at the resort, "Sidewinder" and "Diamondback" This is the first hole of the sidewinder, while more difficult than most around my area, was nothing compared to the mountain course/diamond back

Most of these will now be of the "Diamondback" Course. Both aptly named for the snakes around :)

Ok, so this is what 105* heat, some beers, and just overly being tired from the instruction. You had 6 hours of instruction, and then went and played 18 holes

http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i209/z28kid98/golf%20arizona/GolfSchool2007055.jpg

180 yards to the hole, then a 250 yard drop in elevation. Try and pick a club for that one. Haha, had a couple holes this way

Then the rain came for a short period of time. Cool to see the thunderstorm come over the mountain

There's two courses where we were staying. "Sidewinder" is the first course, and "Dinasoar" is the second course. Second one was named the mountain course as a nickname because you literally were wrapping around the mountain area. elevation changes were incredible. you could have the brakes on the cart fully pressed and the cart would still be sliding down the hill
